COLD, COLD, COLD
Well, it’s January 17th, and I have been sort of laid up from shoulder surgery, but now I’m feeling better, and typing better, so should be back in the barn in a matter of days. Thanks to Jaime and Ed for holding down the fort during this incredible cold weather. Windchills below zero, frozen buckets, dragging hay in the snow, horses in and out. I can’t believe I’ve had the luxury of missing it, although I am dying of cabin fever. I am starting to see the end of the tunnel though! I don’t know what I’d do without Ed and Jaimee.
This is Marie, a student of Jaimee’s. She’s a middle school student at the Lehman school in Ithaca. She works hard during lessons and really wants to excel. She is a good student, an artist, and actress and also holds down a busy schedule. She is cantering now on Buster. Jaimee is doing all my lessons for the next couple weeks, and she is very good at lessons, I think she’s got more energy than I’ve had lately!
So, here’s to everyone reading this, that winter is not totally killing you all, spring is coming, hang in there.
